As many of you may or may not know, a mythical being is upon us.
What is it? It's Slender Man.
Who is Slender Man? Slender Man is a mythical creature created by the SomethingAwfu forums. Slender Man apparently, from what the forum had said, stalked the children of the world and ate them. A typical story to scare children, one could say. However, Slender Man wasn't all for kicks and giggles.
In Germany, a folklore was spread among the country of one named 'KindVonDerRitter', meaning 'Child of the Knight'. KindVonDerRitter was a skeletal being with 6 limbs and donning armor. Legends say that many knights would try to slay the creature, but was too strong, even for their best warrior. KindVonDerRitter stalked the people of Germany and would kill any who would dare question him or slay him.
Another German folklore spoke of a young girl, daughter of a witch and a sorcerer. Her parents were always too busy to play with her or spend time with her. So, she imagined a guardian to protect her, Slender Man. Always watching over her back, she could always have somebody to play with. Until one day, her parents yelled at her and made her cry. Slender Man, taking this as a force of nature, went over and killed her parents, taking their bodies beyond parts of the unknown. The girl soon found out about the murder of her parents and ran away. When Slender Man returned, she was gone. Now, he searches for her, stalking every child and killing every child that isn't the girl.
It seems as though the current generation of Slender Man has a different history than that. Slender Man, according to some sites, say that he's been here since the beginning of time, a demon, if you will. Even some pictures from WWII say so otherwise.
A German writes in his journal (paraphrased):
It was then we heard someone coming through the trees and into our camp, it was only our friend, Fredrick.
"RUN!" He said, panting and gasping for air. "Why? There's nothing to hide from, Fredrick."One of my allies had said. "HE'S TALL! HE'LL KILL YOU ALL!!" It was all that came out of his mouth before he fainted. I didn't know until I went over to his body, that he had a broken arm and a broken leg. Then, hearing another sound in the forest before us, we saw a tall figure, standing and watching us cater to our fallen friend.

Out of these 3, C is the most likely of choice. If MarbleHornets and DarkHarvest, this symbol is somewhere to be found. How it is also correct, is because whenever this symbol is near, camera distortion usually follows with a possible chance to see Slender Man included.

Slender Man's appearance is unique. He has no face, very pale and appears to wear a black suit and tie, similar to Men In Black. He's app. 7-10 feet tall. He can stretch his arms and legs to inhumane lengths in order to ensnare his prey. Slender Man is known for having tentacles/tendrils grow from his back. If he has the chance to get these out, he's able to hypnotize any that are before him to draw them near.
Slender Man is able to teleport. His means of teleportation is one of a kind. He doesn't need to move when he does, he can simply stand and imagine a spot he would want to be in, and he's there (think of a place you would want to be and you would be there is a simple way to put it).
The work of Slender Man is most disturbing. While he stalks the children and eat them, any adults that may wander into his domain, the forest, will suffer. Slender Man gets them to come into the forest and kills them. After killing them, probably petrifying at the most, he will open up one's stomach and take his/her intestines and stuff them in a plastic bag. After which, he will either:
A) Hang the bag of intestines from a tree as a warning/trophy or
B) Place the bag of intestines back inside the victim and nail them to a tree; 1 nail in the neck and 2 in the shoulders.
Slender Man is also known for using 'proxies', a type of minion created by him himself. Proxies act like Slender Man, only they have a specific disguise or strike when nobody sees them. However, Slender Man only uses proxies if one knows too much about him already. Sometimes, a proxy may have the ability to screw up. In an episode of DarkHarvest's series, they find their friend, Greg, on the floor with his stomach open and intestines bagged. Slender Man never leaves a body behind and probably used a proxy in order to kill him.
Slender Man doesn't want to be found. That's the whole reason he hides in the forest in the first place. However, if you wander the forest, you won't find him unless you have a camera. Some people say that Slender Man is an alien with such powers to control the human mind, he can simply hide himself. He could be behind you and you wouldn't know. However, if you hold a camera in hand, he can't hide from such technology and is forced to use our rules of physics. If you use a camera, expect to see audio and video distortion, for Slender Man emits large amounts of electricity. With this amount of electricity, any who wander near him will also suffer memory loss.

The Operator is one of Slender Man's many names given to him. He uses this symbol to identify himself. Some theories come up with this symbol. There are 3 meanings of this symbol:
A) This symbol is used to summon the likes of Slender Man.B) This symbol is used to ward off the Slender Man.
